First interview

First Interview 

 

I have met with one of the SCSU’s students and he and I went on the whole question together and he was really helpful and we really enjoyed the interview so there is where we started.

Hello buddy how are you today: I am good. Can I ask you some questions for my English class because I have class project for it. Yes sure. Ok let’s have your name first.

My name is Dingane.

And where are you from?

I came from South Africa; and what are you doing here in SCSU? I came here to study to complete my education.

The questions :

1. Do you like the weather in St. Cloud? Please explain.it is alright I do like it when it is summer session, but when the winter coming I feel so lazy because of it

2 .What do you do for leisure?
Trying to have party to get over all the boring classes’ homework

3. Could you please tell me about yourself?

Well I am not that famous person that have a lot of things to do but I am interesting in sports spicily soccer, I asked him do play for a team sport or just with your friends, he answered I play with both sometime we hung out and play together, but I have my own team sport.

Let’s talk about your family if you don’t mind though, it is alright it is not really bad questions. He respond ok I don’t mind.

 

4 .How often do you communicate with your family back at home

 I don’t really much call my family but when I do I talk to them by Skype or Facebook.
 

5. How does your family feel about you going to school so far from home?

 They always miss me and they are trying to find a way to bring me back to study there but I prefer to stay here because the educations are better than South Africa.

6. In what ways might it be difficult to practice your religion here in the U.S?

It is not big a deal for me because I am Christian, and as you know the USA has a lot of Christian’s people.

 7 .Tell me some important things from your culture?


South Africa has so many different culture you can see the Indian Culture, African and black people culture, and the English British culture and they mixed all together, so that a big culture.

 

8. How long have been studying at SCSU?

I have been here for five years I came here with my sister and she study here too, I asked him does she live with you. Answered no she does not she live with her friends.

9. What are your goals for the future; after you graduate, what are you going to do?

My goals I would like to get a great GPA and go back to South Africa and start a new live new job so that I can earn a lot of money.

10. Do you have any questions for me? I have asked too many questions?

Well yes. How about you what are you going for in SCSU?

Well this is my second years in SCSU and hopefully I will finish my major soon.

Finally, we have done the interview, and we went on a lot of things together.

There is something surprised me when he said about the many cultures that his country has.

when the spanish people went to filipen they taught them how to sing and showed them a lot of beautfil songs. and they taught them how to play guitars. The filipinos learnd also how to kiss as Europeans do. so Filipinos got alot of things from the European even how to deal and recpect women. Euoropeans people have affected on the filipinos in many ways because of the imperialism.

1. The America Pacific.

 

it was written by three people Adrianne, Candace,and Alexis and it was printed in The USA in New york in 1992. and this book talks about the pacific of America and tells us about the history of the United State and show us how it is related to the east of Asia that comes together in unitary from the first time.

 

 

 

2. Amirecan's role in Asia.

 

this book is related to Harry Paxton Hward and it was printed in New York in 1943. This book talks about the American's role that in Asia and how it is effect on them. so Asia was really upheaval in these situations.

 

 

All these books are almost related to each other because they talk about the America and the countries in Asia and how America is effecting on them by several ways.

1.Hussain Alsufair 

 He has selected Modern Egypt book and he chose it because he know much about Egypt and he wants to know more because there are some different between the past and now. there is one author who wrote the book, his name is Goldschmidt.JR and the book printed in 1988 in Boulder, Colorado. 

2. dong Hyuk Lim 

Dong chose this book because it is related to her country which is Korea and the book name is The Korean War, so she was surprised that there were many books in the library and she does not has experiences war in her country but she leaned about it in the her school. the book was written  by Stanley Sandler and printed in 1999 in Great Britain.

3. Hazza Fahad H: 

He has selected How to improve your reading book so he has chosen this book because he wanted to improve his skills in reading and improve his English language the author of this book is Paul Witty and the book was printed by the USA in 1956, 1963 .

4.Hassan Almukhtar 

He has chosen Speeches and Documents On New Zealand History. He got this book because he went to New Zealand in 2009 so he want to know more about it so this book was written by two authors which are W. DAVID McINTYRE and W. J. GARDNER and printed in Great, Britin in 1971.

5. Ahmad Aljahdali 

He selected Fishing is fun, he got this book because fishing is his favourite sport and he enjoying fishing and this book was written by  Arthur H. Carhart, this book has two times editions one is in 1950 and the second time is in 1952 in New York City.
