First interview

First Interview 


 
I have met with one of the SCSU’s students and he and I went on the whole question together and he was really helpful and we really enjoyed the interview so there is where we started.

Hello buddy how are you today: I am good. Can I ask you some questions for my English class because I have class project for it. Yes sure. Ok let’s have your name first.

My name is Dingane.

And where are you from?

I came from South Africa; and what are you doing here in SCSU? I came here to study to complete my education.

The questions :

1. Do you like the weather in St. Cloud? Please explain.it is alright I do like it when it is summer session, but when the winter coming I feel so lazy because of it

2 .What do you do for leisure?
Trying to have party to get over all the boring classes’ homework

3. Could you please tell me about yourself?

Well I am not that famous person that have a lot of things to do but I am interesting in sports spicily soccer, I asked him do play for a team sport or just with your friends, he answered I play with both sometime we hung out and play together, but I have my own team sport.
Let’s talk about your family if you don’t mind though, it is alright it is not really bad questions. He respond ok I don’t mind.

 

4 .How often do you communicate with your family back at home

 I don’t really much call my family but when I do I talk to them by Skype or Facebook.
 
5. How does your family feel about you going to school so far from home?

 They always miss me and they are trying to find a way to bring me back to study there but I prefer to stay here because the educations are better than South Africa.

6. In what ways might it be difficult to practice your religion here in the U.S?

It is not big a deal for me because I am Christian, and as you know the USA has a lot of Christian’s people.
 7 .Tell me some important things from your culture?


South Africa has so many different culture you can see the Indian Culture, African and black people culture, and the English British culture and they mixed all together, so that a big culture.

 

8. How long have been studying at SCSU?
I have been here for five years I came here with my sister and she study here too, I asked him does she live with you. Answered no she does not she live with her friends.



9. What are your goals for the future; after you graduate, what are you going to do?

My goals I would like to get a great GPA and go back to South Africa and start a new live new job so that I can earn a lot of money.

10. Do you have any questions for me? I have asked too many questions?

Well yes. How about you what are you going for in SCSU?

I am studying finance,

Which year are you in?

Well this is my second years in SCSU and hopefully I will finish my major soon.

Finally, we have done the interview, and we went on a lot of things together.

There is something surprised me when he said about the many cultures that his country has.
